Soy Candle Making

by A. E.

Hello, I love your site. I have a question about soy candle making.

I am new at this. I used 1 lb of soy wax and added some "cheap" fragrance. Stupid me. I should have used the essential oils like I wanted to in the first
place.

Anyway, the candle smells very little.

I like highly highly scented candles. Everything I read says use only a few drops of oil. How much would you suggest per pound of wax to get a truly highly highly scented candle. I have read that you can use too much oil. I don't think this is true.

Hope to here from you soon.

I think 1-1and half ounces per lb. should be enough to make your candle highly scent

Hope this helps you.
