Pine or Spruce Fragrance

Good Morning. I hope you can help me. I absolutely love the fragrance of pine/spruce, etc. It soothes and relaxes me. I used to buy Aspen Bay and Empire Highly Scented candles... they were the very best.. much better than Yankee and much cheaper!! But they no long exist (at least as they were).For several years, I've spent a lot of money trying various candle mfgs. all to no avail. I had also purchased essential oils from a co. no longer open. I would add drops to liquid potpourri. I would use a large crock pot and have it going in my bedroom. I'm desperate for alternative suggestions and/or recipes that would give me some great, strong pine type odors. Can you help? Thank you.

Hi Lynn,

You could try blending your own. We have a nice Conifer Blendusing a blend of Spruce Needle, Siberian Fir Needle and Pine Needle.

Most candles you find that are inexpensive use "Fragrance Oils". It is Man-Made scenting that is done in a laboratory using petrochemicals as the base - these scents can last long but are detrimental to your health.

Essential oils on the other hand are made by Nature. They are very strong but will not last as long 'scenting' wise without adding more to your simmering pot.

And indeed Pine and Spruce Needle oils are good for your health in many ways. But not the Fragrance oils - they can cause unknown number of health issues.
