These conditions are normally not related to gene, but more likely because of natural wear and tear, too much exercising and using shoes that are inappropriate for the activity or wearing shoes that are smaller than their foot size.

First, let me tell you what are the common essential oils for feet that works and people loved to use it.

Common Essential oils for feet that you can use are:

Peppermint: For its anti-inflammatory properties and soothing tired feet

Lavender: For its soothing and relax properties

Rosemary: mild stimulant. Good for rheumatic aches and pains.

Lemon: For its scent that so fresh and has stimulant effect.

Eucalyptus: For its antiviral and antiseptic properties.

You can make your own blends using these essential oils for feet at you home.

Aromatherapy Foot Bath

Anti Fungal Foot Bath

Soak your feet in an invigorating mix. This blend is made for feet to combat fungal infection or sweat excessively. A foot powder may be applied following the soak.

In a large basin fill with warm water and add the blends (5 drops of tea tree, 5 drops of rosemary and 2 drops of peppermint). Soak your feet for up to 15 minutes

Beside water, you can use sage tea to add more effect to fungal problems. To make sage tea, you can put 2 handsful of sage leaves in a gallon of water and allow the combination to simmer for up to 10 minutes.

Tired Feet Foot Bath

This blend comes in handy when you've been on your feet all day.

In large basin fill with 2 liter warm water and add the blends (3 drops of each lavender, rosemary and lemon essential oils). Make sure that the blends mix well with water before you soak your feet.

You can do massage if you feels aches by doing a circular motion several times

Tips For Dry Feet

I'll tell you a simple and quick way to fix it. You can try one of the following suggestions. Either way is good

First, you can put olive oil into the area and cover it with cozy sock then goto sleep. Your feet will be much better by next morning.

Second, you can soak your feet in a basin of Epsom salt solution for up to 10-20 minutes. The foot bath may be improved by adding any of the following essential oils for feet to provide softness for the skin: peppermint, rosemary, lavender, geranium, or sweet orange. After drying, apply a non greasy moisturizing lotion

My Favorite Foot Spa for tired feet

I have been using this blends and it works to combat tired and aches after a long day walk. you can try to add 2 tbsp sea salt with 2 drops rosemary and 1 drops peppermint essential oils. soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Substitute for peppermint oil, you can put ginger or cypress

or skip all the hassle and buy foot rub oil for revitalize tired and sore feet

To help combat fungal on the foot you can use a daily routine of bathing and moisturizing using essential oils with antimicrobial quality.

It is advised to use shoes made of leather or canvas or as much as possible use sandals. This footwear will permit ventilation to the foot.

For people who are suffering from microbial problems like fungal infection (athlete's foot, fungal nail infection), tinea (caused by a species of ringworm), and hyperhydrosis of the foot. It is advised to use these essential oils - peppermint, geranium, sage, tea tree, thyme, myrrh, clove, and lemon.

The use of black tea (brewed then cooled) as a foot bath will aid in reducing sweating of the foot.

Foot Refresher

This blends is great to treat aching feet.

You will need a foot tub, ¼ cup of sea salt, marbles to cover the base of the foot tub and 5 to 10 drops of essential oils (you can choose one of them) - lavender, camphor, lemon, rosemary, juniper, eucalyptus or peppermint.

Fill in the tub with hot or cold water and add the essential oils plus salt. Mix thoroughly until the salts have dissolved. Then you may add the marbles in the mixture.

Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes only. While soaking, roll the marbles with your foot, also grasp and the release the marbles with your toes to relax the muscles. After the soaking, dry your feet and apply moisturizer.

If you have cold or flu, you can try to soak your foot in a basin of hot water (as hot as you can stand), then wrap yourself with blanket and inhale the vapor from it.

Aromatherapy Foot Scrub

Peppermint Foot Scrub

This recipe gives relief for tired and cramped legs.

Ingredient:

  • 4 tablespoons Epsom salt/ sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons soy oil
  • 8 drops peppermint essential oil

Dry and Itchy Foot Scrub

This foot scrub recipe will aid in improving dry skin and eliminate or reduce itching. And if you have sensitive skin, do not use lemon oil but use peppermint instead.

  • ¼ cup of ground oatmeal and cornmeal
  • A tablespoon of sea salt or plain table salt
  • 4-6 drops of the essential oil Lemon or peppermint
  • Water

Create a paste out of oatmeal and salt plus water. Add the essential oil. Apply the mixture to your feet and massage it to the skin.

Focus on rough areas and in between the toes. Rinse thoroughly and then apply moisturizer afterwards.

Aromatherapy Foot Lotion

Energizing Foot Lotion

If you have been on your feet all day and they are aching then make some of this lotion and rub it on. They will feel better in no time.

You will need:

  • 1 tablespoon almond oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil
  • 12 drops eucalyptus

Combine the ingredient in a bottle. Shake extreme well. Store in a cool and dry place

To Use: just rub into your feet and heels.

Tea Tree is another essential oils for feet that I recommended. Tea Tree oil has natural deodorizing and anti-fungal properties. It can be used for fungal infections, blisters, athlete's foot, infected wounds, insect bites, rashes, and warts.

You can try using tea tree oil to make foot powder.

For a feeling of freshness to a tired foot plus improving circulation, you may want to use eucalyptus, lavender, juniper, sage, or rosemary to add to your foot lotion.

Dry Skin Foot Lotion

This blend is recommended for dry skin, callused skin and is applicable for soothing muscle aches as well.

5 ounce of mint essential oils such as peppermint or spearmint then add to 20 ounce of beeswax. Blends well and massage to your feet.

Aromatherapy Foot Powder

Foot powder will help in keeping moisture at a minimum as it absorbs and keeps the feet dry

Tea Tree Foot Powder

Combine 2 drops of each tea tree oil and rosemary oil with 2 tablespoon of arrowroot powder. Stir to make the blends mixed completely then dust onto your feet before you put your socks on

For other combination blends, you can use Geranium or clove essential oils.

How to do proper foot massage

To administer proper foot massage, try circular motions focusing on the ball of the foot to relieve stress and induce relaxation.

The same may be done to the joints of the toes. After massage please make sure you dry your feet.
